SUP and Shipwrecks Family Adventure

📍on Cameraygal Country
We pay our respects and show gratitude to the Cameraygal people who are the Traditional Custodians of the land we paddle on.

We know many of our paddlers would love to share their love of stand-up paddleboarding with their family and loved ones, so this is your opportunity! Bring your kids (age 9+), partners, parents and more for a fun, light-hearted paddle in a controlled environment led by a qualified SUP instructor!

This 2 hour SUP experience is designed for adults and kids who want a facilitated learning and adventure experience. Gain new SUP skills and explore some secret shipwrecks in Sydney’s Middle Harbour. Designed as an opportunity for our female paddlers to share their love of SUP with their families and loved ones! This is a MIXED GENDER paddle, so we love to see kids, parents, partners, aunts and uncles!

Due to the size of the paddleboards and the area we will be paddling in, the minimum age for this paddle is 9 years old. We love paddling with kids under 9, however they tend to need a little extra support with the big boards. So if your kids are under 9 years old, please email hello@shesups.com.au so we can book you in for a private version of this tour just for your family/group.

We will launch from Tunks Park in Cammeray (if you learnt to SUP with She SUPs, this is where we host most of our SUP Confidence Lessons so you may have been here before!) and start close to the shore practicing skills. We will then paddle around into a beautiful shallow bay to see some shipwrecks, look out for stingrays and have some fun on the SUPs.

Please note: this is NOT a ‘drop your kids and leave’ paddle. This is designed for adults AND children, so please ensure there is at least one adult attending within your party.

COST

2 Hour Guided SUP Session + Exploratory Shipwreck Tour:
$109 for Adults (+ FREE SUP HIRE)
$69 for Children (+ FREE SUP HIRE)

Upon booking below, you will be making a booking for YOURSELF. Then please select the relevant ‘ADD-ONS’ to add the kids and adults accompanying you (e.g. if it’s you, your friend and 2 kids, add +1 Extra Adult and +2 Children). If you have a larger group than the booking system can support, please email hello@shesups.com.au so we can book you in on the back end.

We are not providing a BYO option for this tour because when there are kids involved, things can get a little crazy. So we will provide all paddleboards and equipment on this occasion to keep things simple.

ABILITY LEVEL

This paddle is suitable for ALL abilities (including beginners who have never paddled before!)
Minimum age 9 years old.
Maximum age 110.

Ability to swim is a mandatory safety requirement for this group activity. If anyone in your group cannot swim, please book a private session NOT this group session.

WEATHER

The She SUPs team will be in touch with you via SMS if the weather (in particular wind) conditions look unsafe to paddle and we will arrange to reschedule the paddle or provide a refund. Please assume we are proceeding as normal if you don't hear from us, and trust that we will never run a paddle if it's unsafe to do so. Often generalist forecasts like Apple and Google forecasts are not accurate enough for paddling, so your instructor will be analysing more in-depth weather charts to decide whether to proceed.

MEETING POINT

These paddles are run from Tunks Park, Cammeray which enables us to explore Sydney’s beautiful Middle Harbour. Details about meeting point and what to wear/bring are shared once you have booked in for this lesson.
